This handsome little pit bull named Buddy was recently rescued from severe neglect. For just about his whole life, Buddy was tied to a tree by a 10' cable, that was cutting into his neck. Other than the food some neighbors threw over the fence, he was completely neglected, left outside rain or shine, heat waves or freezes.

We convinced the owner to surrender him, which he was very happy to do. Since rescued, this happy little guy wants nothing more than to be with his humans.  The vet thinks he around 20 months old (Feb. 2017). In the time that we’ve had him, he gotten all his shots, been neutered, had some training, and has become a super affectionate dog. He’s really good with kids and most other dogs. And he’s whip-smart.

We needed to get Buddy out of his situation, but we’re unable to give him the attention he needs as we both work long hours. We want to find him a family that can give him the attention he deserves. A fenced yard would be great. Having a dog friend would be good, too.
