Millie

My name is Millie and I am oh-so-excited about the opportunity to have a forever home with a forever human. I am a one-year-old female pointer/pit mix. People tell me I am smart, loyal and loving.

I've had quite a ride so far . . . my first owner got sick and couldn't keep me because she had to move in with family. My second owner had a cat. I had a great time at training class with the second owner and caught on to things really fast! On the other hand, the cat always just looked like dessert to me.

I am with a foster dad out in the country right now but I'm really anxious to get settled somewhere. I am healthy, spayed, micro-chipped and not a picky eater at all. I am very athletic and, if I do say so myself [blush], I would make a great agility dog.

I love runs and walks, but I'm also very contented just lying at the feet of my human. My main thing is being with my owner. And that's hard because (I'm embarrassed to say it) I don't really have one right now...

Two photos are attached. The one where I'm lying down was at my "City home" and the one where I'm standing up is my current [foster] "country home." I have a great attitude because I know I'll find the right human and this nomadic first year will just make me appreciate him/her all the more!

I'd sure like to be snuggled up in my forever home for the holidays! You can follow-up with me by calling Robin at (512) 496-9314.
