Bumby

Bumby is a collie Shepard mix that was taken from a home where he spent his life chained outdoors and abused cruelly. He was filthy, matted and flea infested. He has been neutered, is current on his shots and is currently being treated for heartworms. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home but should probably not be in a home with small dogs or cats. He loves to walk on a leash and enjoys playing with toys and the other dogs in his foster home. Bumby spends most of his day relaxing indoors on a dog bed but is an attentive watch dog too. The vet believes he is about 10 years old but he looks and acts much younger than that. He is housebroken and uses a dog door in his foster home. He is being crate trained also. Bumby was very fearful of men because of his abusive past but he is learning to trust people. He will need an owner who is patient and experienced with shy dogs. Please email trishashirey@gmail.com for more information on Bumby.
